Spring has arrived!

[Paul's Grains]

Greetings to each of you!

It has been awhile since we have taken time to touch bases with all of
you. We had a mild winter that allowed us to catch up on some outdoor
projects, but some of the indoor "winter" projects were neglected. In
January we had a fire in the attic of our house, so that gave us some
additional things to work on. We are so thankful for the Lord's
protection and the comparatively minimal loss from the fire. We still
have some more repair work to do, but it will get done somewhere along
the way.

The field crops are looking great, but could use a drink right now. It
has been awhile since the last significant rains. With May also comes
the beginning of another farmer's market season. Our first day will be
this Saturday, May 19th, at the Des Moines Downtown Farmer's Market.
They have reserved a booth for us on the east end of Court Ave. on the
north side. If you are able to stop by and say "hello", do so! If you
want to place an order and pick it up there, just call or email and we
will get it ready for you.

We are looking forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for this
new season. We appreciate the part each of you have in helping us
continue on in our business with your words of encouragement,
purchasing of our projects, etc.
