The Paulites of Belgaum Worldwide (PBW) is an organisation that, in many ways, strives to link ex-students of St Paul’s High School, Belgaum worldwide. We have done this by running a facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/
linking about 1500 Paulites, to which we wish to add an email group of another 1000+Paulites for Paulites across the world to remain connected with each other.
A bi-annually published magazine, The Paulite Link, carries articles on St Paul’s school, its’ outstanding alumni and Belgaum-centric news. A Directory is published periodically that lists the contact details (name, telephone number and email addresses, etc) of Paulites worldwide.
Several local Paulites of Belgaum conduct their own batch-wise reunions each year and PBW reunions inviting all Paulites worldwide are held in several cities of India where independent chapters of the PBW exist. These meets help to catch up with old school friends, revive school ties, foster renewed relationships and share a happy camaraderie. Paulites have enjoyed the PBW 2010 Grand Reunion and carry with them a happy memory of the bonhomie that pervades our school and us during those two days.
The mission of PBW is three-fold:
To help all Paulites - past, present and future.
To assist our Alma Mater in any way we can
To engage in Community Outreach programmes for the deserving and less fortunate
people of Belgaum.
In order to attain these objectives, we depend on the whole-hearted and generous contributions of all Paulites. Worldwide, there is no dearth of successful Paulites who are leaders in the field of medicine, commerce and industry. We appeal to all these individuals to pledge their support, in terms of expertise, leadership and financial resources towards helping our less fortunate brother-Paulites, our school and the Belgaum community at large. In return, we promise to utilise all collections that form our corpus only for very noble causes and to provide complete transparency of all monies spent.
To Society, we will identify and assist deserving NGOs in their worthy projects connected with food, clothing and basic human dignity.
Donors are welcome,
We would accept your most generous contribution.
