The Second International Symposium on Neural Networks (ISNN 2005) will
be
held in Chongqing in southwestern China, as a sequel of ISNN 2004
successfully held in Dalian, China. ISNN 2005 aims to provide a broad
international forum for scientists, engineers, and educators working in
the
areas of neural networks to discuss state-of-the-art science and
technologies, and their applications in diverse areas. The symposium
will
feature plenary speeches given by worldwide renowned scholars, regular
sessions with broad coverage, and some special sessions focused on
popular
topics.

Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers by the
submission deadline. The submission of a paper implies that the paper
is
original and has not been submitted under review or copyright protected
elsewhere and will be presented by the author if accepted. All papers
should be submitted electronically via Online Submission System. The
format
of the initial submissions can be PDF, Word, or Postscript. Besides
papers
in regular sessions, papers in special sessions are also invited to
provide
forums for focused discussions on new topics and innovative
applications of
established approaches. A special session consists of at least four
related
papers that must be submitted through the regular review process.
Proposals
for special sessions including the session organizers, author names,
paper
titles, abstracts, and brief statements on the purpose of the session
must
be submitted to the Special Sessions Chair by December 15, 2004. All
accepted papers with paid registration will be included in the
Proceedings
of ISNN 2005, to be published by Springer as a volume of Lecture Notes
in
Computer Science.
