Details for Saturday - Lenoir Rhyne Homecoming

• Students will need to be at school at 8:00am, dressed and ready to leave by 8:15am.
• The parade begins at 10am beginning from the parking lot of the SALT block in Hickory and ends on LR's campus.
• After the parade we will have some down time and be fed lunch in LR's cafeteria.
• We will play our show before the game, stepping on the field around 1:40pm.
• The game begins at 2:00pm and we will play in the stands until sometime in the 4th quarter.
• We will then leave to try to beat some of the traffic and hopefully arrive back at FHS around 5:30 or 6:00pm.

Dear Band Parents,

        This is my plea for help.  As you all know, our Band Classic is next Saturday, October 17^th.  We are still in need of many things.  First and foremost, we need you to please send in cases of canned Pepsi products.  Please, if you can, send those in so that we may get an idea of how many more we are going to need.  Also, I need you to volunteer to donate baked goods to our baked goods tent for the Classic.  If you can bake something: cookies, cake, Rice Krispie Treats, brownies, etc. and pre-bag them, we would be most appreciative.  Finally, we are still in need of some individuals (or businesses) to purchase 2^nd and 3^rd place trophies.  The prices are $30 and $25 respectively.  I felt that sending home a note would probably be in our best interest because I know my son always “forgets” to tell me things.  If you can and are willing to do any of the above, please let me know by either sending a note to Mr. Hoyle, e-mailing me at gep...@burke.k12.nc.us or you may call me at 443-0834.  Thank you all in advance.  We have great band parents and I know this year’s Classic will be a huge success.
