Is it possible to put the .page files of the (Gitit) wiki into a
(sub)directory?
Gitit user manual says that they should be (by default) in the
wikidata directory, but in patch-tag they are in the root directory.

Hi there.

Patch-Tag gitit is a slight fork of gitit, for historical reasons; I
intend to unfork at some point but it's a bit of work.

You can create a wikidata directory and put pages there, but the home
page won't go there by default and /wikidata will be visible in the
url.

I actually don't recall how having stuff in wikidata works in standard
gitit. Does that mean that you can't view files in the root directory
via the gitit interface? If so, that is perhaps why I chose to have
things at the root level.

If you turn off uploading in your wiki (mildly recommended for public
wikis) only .wiki files (ie gitit pages) can be edited by non-project
members.

If it's a wanted feature to specify wiki directory other than root
this is something I could add to feature requests.
