getting a good one can be problematic. here are some:

the spring sts is a version of eclipse. vanilla eclipse is absent
from the list. seems like the spring source guys want you to use
their sts. i have tried sts a *tiny* bit - it may be very good. it
claims to have a .gsp editor.
groovy (and grails) support for eclipse has been poor. i am about to
try the latest groovy plugin

with vanilla eclipse and see how that works. this does not have any
grails support per se, but it does have groovy support. most of the
grails stuff is done from the command line anyway.
many people on the lists prefer intellij or netbeans.
