Hi,

I'm going to develop one huge social application in Grails. I have
found this plugin ... Maybe we could help developing it. Now it seems
to me that it's dead. Am I right or wrong ? No changes, no commits ...
Waiting for integration with grails 1.1.

regards

yes, i guess further development is almost stopped or very slow. I am too interested in a grails social network site. Infact after release of 1.1.1 we need party-time to be 1.1.1 compliant which is right now build on 1.0
Looking for partners to develop a new platform altogether rather then using a plugin , anyone interested can contact me

yes, thats really cool , in fact RoR has lot more options and maturity compared to GoG. There are lot of free ,open source social network platforms also in RoR like Insoshi and lovdbyless.
We should do somethin to move ahead of them

I have been playing a bit with PartyTime ... i.e. built an internal app with it so porting and extending PartyTime would be an option.
Otherwise, I have also some good knowledge of Grails and some of it's plugin.
Feel free to email me directly for further details.

HI Guys,

Sorry, I'm late to the party. :-)

What can I say, we have been very very busy recently and that throws
off our schedule for PartyTime development. Heck we are about to start
to migrate to Grails 1.1.

Anyway, our plan is to get back to PartyTime by sometime this month
and I got to checkin any unstable and half-cook stuff on my now, and
look forward to what needs to be done for migrating to Grails 1.1.

In particular I am looking forward to make use of Groovy 1.6's mixin
and meta-programming capabilities to "inject social components into
Grails app.

Well, I'll make it short here; because of our tight schedule, we don't
have any quality time to sqeeze into PartyTime development at the
moment -- checking stuff that will break is not my idea of fun.

If anybody of you have already tried to use PartyTime with grails
1.1.1, I appreciate it if you could post your experience here. I do
see new message from this group pops up in my mail daily. :-)

Cheers

There's definitely on-going interest in this project. Problem is we are in middle of other projects that pay the bills.

Anyway, Asri is currently porting PT to Grails 1.1.1.
Expect new code commit very soon.

Hi all,
I'm the guy who's currently upgrading the project to 1.1.1. I aim to
have this in the trunk by the end of the week.

Asri.

Hi all,

I got to work in this project and I want to do development.
I'm experienced in application development with Grails. But I don't have very good level of English in.
What should I do?

Well, you should check out the latest from trunk and try to sort the kinks of the port to Grails 1.1.1.
:)

Or, come up with something cool using Grails and PT.
