Today on www.LinkedIn.com somebody posted a job for a Flex developer
with Parleys Framework experience.

Is Parleys a closed or an open source system and/or can it be
purchased for hosting on third party sites ?

I would like to use it for a business directory. Any luck in being
able to do just that ?

Thanks.

I`m pretty sure they mean the Parsley Framework not Parleys ;-)
Here is more info: http://www.spicefactory.org/parsley/

We have nothing to do with it :-)

Hey,

First of all Parleys.com is not an open source project.

Individuals and organizations can setup their own private/public Space
on the Parleys platform which you can see in the beta version @
http://beta.parleys.com.

We also provide free channels to any Java User Group around the world
in a dedicated JUG Space.

When you've published a presentation to your channel, you can embed
the talk in your website. An example can be seen @ http://blog.parleys.com/?p=140

In the near future we'll also allow more customization of your own
channel so it feels more at home.

Hope this helps?

Stephan
PS: Can you add a link to the LinkedIn job post... I'm just
curious :)

Hey,

I think they mean Parsley http://www.spicefactory.org/parsley/
So it is not related to Parleys :)

YUP !

When I read it originally, it certainly was PARLEYS.
I read it now and it's PARSLEY.
Why would they change it on me ;?)

P.S. Thanks guys and sorry for the noise.
In the meanwhile, please consider licensing Parleys for hosting on
third party sites.

Regards,
Zdravko
