Drive by the house on Glenmere. It is between Fairway and McCain on
the west side of Glenmere. The decorations will make you laugh.

I would really hate to stumble into that guy's closet during the rest
of the year.

So, do you mean you thought it was funny as in stupid? Or funny as in
you could you appreciate our morbid sense of humor?

I didn't get to make it over that way. Someone should post pictures either way.

Halloween related, we had 218 kids stop by the 3400 block of Poplar before the loot ran out tonight -- a new record for us.

Wow, that's a lot of kids. Magnolia was hopping too, but we ran into
some neighbors on Cherry Hill who had only gotten one or two. We had
one solitary trick-or-treater, a blind referee, but we forgot to turn
our lights on for half of the night.

Lots of good strobe lights and fog machines at work. And even though
I've driven past "Michael" sitting on the porch on B all week, I still
half expected him to jump out at us when we went up to the porch, like
you see on those America's Funniest Videos.

My daughter loved her first Halloween. Thanks to all you neighbors who
entertained the ghouls.

I didn't count heads, but we went thru 22 bags of candy in no time.  I was surprised at the number of people ringing our door bell at almost 10:00 pm.  We had turned all the outside lights off an hour before.  I guess people don't know anymore that you're only supposed to 'trick or treat' houses that have their porch lights on???

I know I had that many as well.  They, too rang my doorbell at 10 pm, my light was off, and the bad thing was they had a driver.  If a parent, should have known that means it's over.  I opened the door and told the young men that it was too late, I had run out of candy, and their response was "Can't you give us some more of that bubble gum, then".  LOL  They had already been by.  And actually I think it was their 3rd run.  I had asked one of the boys  earlier hadn't they been by once, and he said, "no ma'am, must have been some dressed like us".  Well, it was a group of 4, the percentages of 4 being dressed exactly as the previous ones is highly unlikely.
For the most part, it was fun.  I do enjoy the kids.  Especially the little ones.

We were out at a party so I can't say how busy it was at our place, but last year we had a whopping two trick or treaters with the porch light on until 10 pm. It might be that were down on the west end of Skyline, but to me even that seems low. They were both drive ups with the parents kicking the kid outta the car to come ring the bell so I could tell they were not from around here.

Sadly, most of the folks ringing our doorbell at 10:00 pm had toddlers!  I never saw 10:00 pm until I was in about the 4th grade!

I thought is was wonderful and creative. I took some family members to
see it. The people were out in the yard and I rolled down the window
and told them how much I enjoyed it.

Well, in that case...for anyone who wants to come by next year or any
years after that, it is 4425 Greenway Dr. People this year told us it
was actually like going through a haunted house.
