Hi

I have the attached xhtml, which contains the following two styles:

div.flex_todo_inline_ {
border: 2px solid black;
padding: 1ex;
margin: 1ex;
background-color: red;
font-weight: bold;
font-family: serif;
font-variant: normal;
font-style: normal;

}

div.flex_todo_margin_ {
border: 2px solid black;
padding: 1ex;
margin: 1ex;
background-color: red;
font-weight: bold;
font-family: serif;
font-variant: normal;
font-style: normal;

}

When I convert this .xhtml to odt using

pandoc -o LyxHTML_export.odt LyxHTML_export.xhtml

the text in these styles are not converted to ay specific formating as pandoc does not know these
styles.

My question: is there a way that I can pandoc to convert these to e.g. bold and red text color?

Thanks,

Rainer

Your best bet is to preprocess the XHTML using an XHTML manipulation
library, changing your custom XHTML to something more standard.
Then pass the result through pandoc.

Thanks - could you give me any tips on what I could use for this? I have no idea about xhtml, and
I have this format because I export from LyX to xhtml to convert it with pandoc to odt. Which
works fine, but the main problem are the todo items which occur inline and can not be differentiated.
Otherwise, I know nothing about xhtml.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rainer
