Validating Upload Size

Panda Folk,

1. Thanks for building PandaStream. I'm currently implementing it on a
niche video-sharing site that should relaunch by end of year.

2. Before I go digging in the bowels of my AMI - can anyone here
comment on whether or not I can set some filtering in the video upload
process to prevent folk from attempting to upload 1GB files? Happy to
go hacking if I need to, just assumed this had likely already been
addressed and I didn't want to reinvent the wheel.

Usually, this is done with Flash uploaders on client side - not the server-side job.

That makes total sense although it would be nice to cut if off at the pass in Apache based on content headers...

Certainly with nginx you can set the max content size, I'm sure apache has a similar option.

In fact, it's already set in the default Panda AMI...client_max_body_size 500m;
