I have a similar project here:

Board layout is progressing in fits and starts. I'm hoping to have
gerbers by the end of July. The design will follow the Beagle Tracker
board in configuring the FPGA by SPI (slave serial mode), so although
I connect with the GPMC, it is not necessary for bootstrapping. I
haven't yet investigated how to access and configure the OMAP4 GPMC in
Linux, but if you search through the kernel sources you'll find some
relevant code. Let's keep in touch.
