Alison,
The web site states "Output format: 8/10 bit raw RBG data". In other words,
the output of the Omnivision sensor is 8 or 10 bit Bayer. Each pixel is
either 8 or 10 bits or green, blue, or red. The demosaic filter in the OMAP
ISP is needed to convert this frame to YUV.
Also, the output format is independent of the layer 1 and layer 2
connection between the sensor and host. Bayer format can be used with
serial CSI2 as well as a parallel CPI connection.
