Gstreamer & wayland/weston

Hi,

I would like to know whether is it possible to play a video in gsteamer with gst-ducati, kmssink and wayland without the X-server running?

we have some patches for waylandsink which let you play video w/
wayland.. there are some things still missing, like a way to push the
buffer together w/ window decorations (sort of like a sub-surface),
but there is at least something there to start playing with..

Hi Shinose,

We are currently working on an update of TI PPA that will come in 2 weeks.
This update will support waylandsink.
You can already have a look to the debian git trees associated into:
https://gitorious.org/+ubuntu-omap
But I would advise to wait for the update.
