Hi all,

I have loaded ubuntu in 8gb SD card and it is working
fine in PANDA BOARD and fully updated, but flash player is not
installing for firefox and it is giving following errors:

1. flash player is not available for this type of computer

2. Unable to locate the package flash player-installer.

Please give me a solution as soon as possible.

AFAIK the flash player for ARM is not publically available - as it's a
proprietary software from Adobe and is not redistributable. It must be
licensed through adobe or a partner.

Mmm.. can you kindly point me to the place/public URL where you got
this plugin's. This will enable me to track down the folks and clarify
any plans on OMAP4.

Has anybody tried the flash video replacer, which is available as a
firefox plugin? Of course this only works videos, but it would be
great if it is possible to watch 1080p flash videos then.

says: "...Request for access is approved on a case-by-case basis to end
equipment manufacturers/customers..."

this is not a "public" release.

Adobe is unwilling/unable to provide a generic arm linux flash plugin
like they do for X86, they are asking customers to certify each device
that ships with a flash plugin. Not much that TI can do there...

I tried it today with www.youtube.com and it didn't work, always said
that some error has occurred and no video was played. Is it supposed
to work with youtube content? This is what I am looking for.
