pandaboard new order

Hi,

My company has decided to get in line for a pandaboard. Any information to help would be helpful.

Is the digikey link still the best/only way to order?

What does the main board come with?
 
My understanding is that it comes with nothing except the board and specs. So then min one needs serial to usb cable, power supply, SD/EMMC card, and some way to connect to the external i2c connector be usable out of the box. The i2c connector is not needed unless one needs to connect an external i2c device like we do.

USB cable may/may-not be required. At the minimum most people need a powersupply & SD card. You can pick one listed http://pandaboard.org/content/resources/Accessories

You understanding is correct -  Digikey is the only outlet for it.

There is nothing in the box other than the board (unlike the Beagleboard which conveniently comes with a micro SD card with a working boot-loader, kernel and Angstrom user-space).  There's no onboard flash either, so even getting as far as a boot prompt is a bit of an initiative test. 

If you want to use WIfi you'll probably want an antenna.  Oddly, no mention of recommended parts on Pandaboard.org

To be clear: There is a built-in onboard antenna which will enable functional BT/WLAN. However, the built-in antenna performance is not the best
