after a lengthy hiatus, i'm returning to my panda es, and i'd like
to use openembedded/yocto to build for that. is anyone doing that?
how? what layers are you using? meta-ti? etc, etc.

we recently started to 'play' a little bit with OE/meta-ti, and a
couple of patches have been merged recently in meta-ti/master branch,
95e1271 pandaboard: use xf86-video-omap by default in XSERVER config
410dc02 xf86-video-omap: add new recipe for OMAP4/5 X11 video driver
cce5a7a libdrm: enable omap experimental api support
4f3522a linux-omap4: update to 3.4 from GLP 1.6.6 release
there is an on going effort to 'port' the content from TI Ubuntu PPA
into meta-ti, see the following relevant messages:

i'm definitely interested. just to be clear, the meta-ti layer
depends only on oe-core, yes? i see no LAYERDEPENDS info in the
meta-ti layer.conf file.
at the moment, i just want something that boots, even if it still
has issues. i'll give it a shot later today. thanks.
