Enabling Ethernet on Pandroid pre-built L27.8.2 images

I am trying to get ethernet connectivity either wired or wireless to work using pre-built Pandroid L27.8.2 image(s).  Android comes up but I don't see eth0 on netcfg command on serial terminal.  I use bootargs shown in the L27.8.2 release notes which does not have ip=dhcp but I have tried bootargs with and without this arg.  Any insight how to make Ethernet work on the pre-built images would be appreciated.

The latest release should have Ethernet support. It also has connectivity driver modules for BT and WLAN, but you’ll have to copy the firrmare and init scripts as per instructions in the readme file.

 

Ethernet – you’ll see it as usb0.
