Hello.

I’m Joo-sung Kim, a member of CARES lab, Seoul Nat’l University in Korea.

Our research group wants to buy PandaBoard (OMAP4430) to perform energy-related experiments on Android platform.

To verify the result, the machine which we will use must have some kind of current probe port to measure current and voltage of CPU.

(To help you understand, I attached the picture of current probe of other development board)

I already checked resources on the web site, but I cannot find anything related with the probe.

(This board seems to have DC input, but we want more specific information on power input of the CPU chip)

If there are any information about the CPU current measurement on Pandaboard, please reply to this mail.

Thank you and have a good day.

the pandaboard is not really designed for this type of testing. in
order to save space and money, most of the features that would be used
for this level of power testing have been removed from the pandaboard.
if you are very serious about doing this level of power testing,
purchasing a blaze or sdp4430 might be a better choice since both have
tap locations and controls for that level of testing.
