日系Ｌinuxを読み,SDカードにUbuntuを入れる事は出来ましたが、PandaBoard ESに接続し電源を挿しても緑色のＬＥＤが一つ光る
だけで、モニターには何も表示されません。何か解決方法はありませんか？

① とりあえずやって見て欲しいこと
pandaboard -ESには HDMIポート が ２つありますが、今つないでる方と反対側につないでリセットして見てください
② NGなら
小生のサイト <http://legacyos.homeip.net/panda/#h04>にテスト起動SDの作り方書いてますので、テストしてください、これもHDMIポートは両方試してください
③ さらにNGなら
あなたのCRTは画面解像度が1280x720@60Hzに対応していますか？確認してください
Yesの場合は初期不良なので購入先に相談、Noの場合は uEnv.txt を修正ですが、やり方わからないときは再度聞いてください
④ ②ではOKの時は、シリアルケーブルを用意してコンソールに繋いで下さい
U-boot が立ち上がっているか？カーネルは？ これらが走らないときはSD作成方法が間違ってます
それ以外の症状のときは再度聞いてください

日経Linuxをお買上いただきありがとうございました。
読まれたのは2012年の3月号でしょうか？
Ubuntuのバージョンは11.10ですか？

PandaBoard ESですが、本来は電源を入れた直後は、D1とD2の両方のLEDが５秒くらい光ったままになって、その後、点滅を始めます。
LEDの片方が点灯せずモニターに何も表示されないということですので、bootパーティションに問題がある可能性が高いです。もしシリアルケーブルが
あれば、なにかメッセージが見られるかもしれません。

ネットで様子を見ていると、Ubuntuのオフィシャルなイメージを使った時は、どうもSDカードまわりのトラブルが多いような気がしています。
OMAPデモイメージのほうが成功しやすい印象があるので、こちらで試してみてはどうでしょうか？

モニターのケーブルは、オフィシャルイメージとは逆の、角に近い方に挿してください。起動したらユーザー名 ubuntu、パスワード
temppwd でログインして、最初に passwd コマンドでパスワード変更してください。Ubuntu Unity を入れるに
は、"sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop" と入力してくださ
い。

また、別の方法として、こちらで紹介されている validation image を作って、ハードウェアを一通りテストすることもできます。

ＨＤＭＩケーブルを差し替えても無理でした。
他の方法を試しても駄目なら、日を改めてシリアルケーブルを購入し確認してみます。
