  Grant, &lt;br&gt; This is a great discussion and just the kind of thing I&#39;d hoped for when I &lt;br&gt; created the Virtual Lodge. &lt;br&gt; I have to be honest, there is a great need for active members who want to &lt;br&gt; join various committees.   Grant-    &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Full disclosure:  I&#39;m 41 years old, married, and have kids 7 and 10.  (That&#39;s for frame of reference so you konw where I come from on this discussion) &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I tend to agree with you in some respects.  We joined because a number of our friends joined.  Whenever I&#39;ve gone to lodge meetings or events, I&#39;m aware that there aren&#39;t many &amp;quot;young familes&amp;quot; there.  I know that my first reaction when I walk into the room is to scan for one of the other families I know (who also have kids our age).
