Atif, this a cut of an email that I sent to one firm I am in touch with. Thanks for your help.

There are two types of data entry tasks. The major one is between October and December (every year)  where our clients sign up for services, around 5-7000 forms (could be as many as 10000). And then on monthly basis we update our client records for billing etc. So around 2000 (many pay upfront for entire year) on monthly basis starting from January for next year. The monthly updates are fairly easier as they do not require re-entry of names and address, just an update of the record that client has paid his dues.

I will be interested in references of your clients, esp in USA if you have any. Also, as this will be the first time my company will be doing any business offshore, I will need to make sure your company has proper data entry process and quality control procedures in place so the management feel comfortable doing business offshore.

The forms will be emailed to you (or kept on FTP) in PDF format but the information will be hand written for the oct-dec phase but typed January onwards.

Please send me pricing information for oct-dec phase and then for January on wards. If you can send the pricing on per records and on bracket volume (2-3000 will cost so much) that will be great.
