Hello,

I was wondering if I can create apps as gems, to concentrate some code across multiple projects. Is that possible?

Hi Lucas,

Its possible and I've done it, its "just" a matter of knowing the load order of padrino applications, templates, etc and fixing them accordingly. The problem is that there is no official support for it, especially as "support" would also mean "development support" (including reloading, etc.).

Regards,
Florian

Hello Florian,

So, maybe I should use git submodules instead of gems... Is there a plan to support it in Padrino, someday?
