Hi there,

I am coming out to Nova Scotia next month for work and am also planning a 5 day paddling trip in Keji.  I am looking for some information regarding shuttles to and from the park from Halifax, renting a canoe (or borrowing one if someone is willing to lend a seasoned west coast paddler a boat for a couple of days) and potential paddling partners.

Any information is appreciated.

Thanks,

Garnet

I am not aware of a shuttle/bus/public transport between Halifax and Keji, indeed I am not aware of any between Bridgewater or Liverpool and Keji.

During the coming months I expect to be going to Tantallon nr. Halifax frequently and I live in Greenfield about half way from Bridgewater to Keji.   We might be able to work something out regarding transport.

If we get on OK I would be interested in paddling in Keji for a couple of days.  I have canoes.

You can rent canoes at Jakes landing in Keji,  Most of the boats he has are polyethelene but about 5 years ago I spotted a 15ft kevlar Scott in his yard and a 16 ft Mad river in royalex and have persuaded him to rent these to me in the past.  Both are old but better than the poly ones.

best wishes

Rob
