Hey hey. As you may or may not know, a bunch of us (me, Goose, Evan, Mikey
Carroll, and some other guy named Shane) have been doing these wacky little
movie competitions (National Film Challenge) the last few years where we
have 72 hours to make an 8-minute movie. We've won several prizes,
including the 2005 Audience Award, and the Best Application of Dirt, Sand,
and Leaves to Pale Skin.

Honestly? It was starting to get a little easy. We figured we probably
waste approximately 30 hours every year, so the 48 Hour Film Project this
past weekend beckoned. And you know what? It was still kinda easy.
Our finished product, "Be Careful What You Wish For...", is 4 minutes and 9
seconds of unbridled competence. Tack on 40 or so seconds of erotically
charged closing credits, and it's almost 5 minutes that, much like our
collective dignity, will never be recovered.
Why am I telling you all this? Because you have a chance to squander that
time watching us on the BIG screen.
Our film, along with the other 11 films in our group will be screened this
Wednesday night at 9 at the International House (3701 Chestnut). A big
portion of the judging involves audience reaction, and there's cash prizes,
so we promise to make it rain, Pacman Jones-style if we win.
I know it's the PADA Draft that night, but if you can make it, we'd LOVE to
have you there.

According to the site, the screening should sell out, so they advise getting
tickets ahead of time, beginning at 6:30.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the screening or anything
else.
