This new year has been going faster then anticipated - Actually, here at pack headquarters we have asked our scientific-mad scientists to review the possibility of extending the amount of time in each day to allow for more fun and adventure with pack 940. The idea was widely accepted and eagerly engaged, but to be honest this is not going very well so far and this project will fall behind schedule....that being said use the time you have to make an impact in someone's life...Don't wait for the impossible to make some possible....
Pack 940 Pack Meeting - January 17th - Pack Advancements and fun for all....
Pinewood Derby - January 28th at Main Street UMC - Fellowship Hall: The boys are going to be racing by rank the cars. We need help on the 27th setting up the track. We will be hosting a Parent/Sibling Outlaw race (no real rules) Friday night...Bring what you got...show us what your able to make. Set up at 6PM, Official weigh in scales will be available, Open track for testing and Outlaw race at 7:30ish. This is a fun night and we do need help setting up the track. Let's talk shop - We do need help to set up the track - don't tell us how much you know - show us that you are able to help....thank you...
Scouting for Food - February 4th (bag drop off) and February 11th (bag pick up): Details below:
1) Saturday, 2/4/12: Bag Distribution Day. All participants will meet at MSUMC Fellowship Hall for bags and maps. We will meet at 9am and most likely wrap up around 11am.
2) Saturday, 2/11/12: Bag Collection Day. All participants are invited for a pancake breakfast before collection begins...meet at MSUMC @ 8:30am for breakfast. We will leave around 9am to collect bags in our pre mapped neighborhoods. Wrap up is typically around 11am.
Rechartering - The scouting year runs - March to March we are taking the money now for rechartering. This money is payable to the Den leader or at the online store or at the Blue and Gold...
Sci-works Sleepover - we have the chance to spend the night at Sci-works....Details at the pack store..Great event (this is a must do)...
Blue and Gold - February 25th: This will be a very special night filled with entertainment. The boys are to be working with the den leaders to develop a skit, show, dance, song or clogging event that will bring public recognition and certain fame to the boys...Again...this will be a pot luck meal and very special night - Mark you calendars now to join us for the 2012 Pack 940 Blue & Gold - "Pack 940's Got Talent". This will be dinner and a show - How fun....Sign up coming soon....
