Spring Campout Registration-- EXTENDED--

Due to some extenuating circumstances we have decided to extend the registration for this weekends Spring Campout.  I will send out a list of registered Families tomorrow.  Please verify you are on the Registration list.   Here are some highlights for this weekend for those last minute Families that decide to come out and enjoy the weekend.

Registration will now end at 10pm on Wednesday evening April 17th.

Accommodations:  This is one of the best things about Camping at the Cub Adventure reservation.  You have the option of Indoor accommodations for both Friday and Saturday night campout.  Just bring your sleeping bag, pillow and blanket.  Space heaters in every room.

--The Accommodations will be First Come First Serve, with some restrictions or BSA rules listed below.

- You have the option of either Tent Camping or indoor accommodations in the Western Fort, Tee Pee’s and the Mountain Cabins.  The Western Fort, TeePee’s, and Mountain Cabin have space heaters or baseboard heat.

--Western Fort is horseshoe shaped with five rooms on each side. Each room has 3 Bunkbeds  with mats (6 people p/room)

--TeePee’s look like traditional Indian Teepee’s but they have cement floors and up to 6 canvas foldout cots to sleep on.

--Mountain Cabin. There is a total of 3 rooms  in each Cabin, 2 small rooms with 2 bunkbeds in each room and one large open room with 8 Bunkbeds.

--Tent Camping   The Pack will be able to Camp in any grassy area between the Mountain Cabins and Western Fort.  Troop 737 will be Camping in Mowgli Tent area located directly behind the Western Fort so please avoid that area.

-- I did see heated bathrooms with showers at the Western Fort and I believe there are additional heated bathrooms with showers at the Castle.??

Activities:  The Boy Scouts from  Troop 737 currently have slingshots, Fire Building/rope burning race, Physical fitness/Tug of War, Knot Tying activities planned for Saturday starting at 1pm.  We also have the unique opportunity to visit the NAWAKWA Native American Dance team to see how they make there regalia and dances and songs.  

The activities don't begin till 1pm which allows time for Scouts to attend other functions on Saturday morning and still make time to enjoy a great weekend of Scouting.  Memories are free.

Meals:  As always we have two incredible meals planned for Saturday dinner and Sunday morning breakfast.  And of course Smores and hot chocolate and bonfires after the ceremony Saturday night.

Cost:  Do not allow the cost of camping to interfere with your decision to attend.  Give what you can and help volunteer.
