Colton Barrett

Guys - there is a Marian University collegiate bike racer named Colton Barrett who also happens to be a top-notch in-line skate racer. He's originally from Minnesota. Colton has been looking for a group to skate with as he says it helps his bike racing.

Bob and I are going to meet him tomorrow (Thursday) around 5:30 at Crown Hill Cemetary to skate. I'm sure he will kick out butt - rumour is he was a junior national champion skater (not sure of which event) - so, the more that can come out and skate with us, the better! The laps at crown hill are short, so you can always arrive a little late and join us partway through.

Colton is bike racing every weekend (collegiate nationals are about 3 weeks away), so he is only available to skate on weekedays. But, he said he'd like to get out a couple of times a week if possible. If you are skating up north during the week, let me know, and maybe he can meet you up there some evening.

Colton was 1500 m long track champion,

He was also Jr & Collegiate National champion on the velodrome

He also bike races as a neo-pro,

last year he was on the Kelly benefits team.

5:30PM is the time that I have to pick my daughter form daycare. The earliest time for me to skate would be about 7:00PM, which might be too later. We can skate Saturday North County. The weather is supposed to be good. 3:00PM so far is our default time.

Thanks for the update Ken. I knew he was some sort of young stud-muffin on both skates and a bike! :-)
