Hi there,

what is the current state of the Webdav support in p4a.plonecalendar
(usecase: read-write support of calendar events through Apple iCal)?

Regards,
Andreas

Working in theory, but there are no tests for it, so it's likely to
actually be broken.

And of course, it won't support recurring events.

This should work if you have the Marshall product installed. Watch the screencast to see how to do it. http://plone.tv/media/1838007390  (around 4:34)

Thanks for the hint (got it working). Do you know where the code
is located generating/updating events from a published iCal calendar?

i think it's currently in the Calendaring product, but Lennart would like to do away with this dependency and do the iCal handling in a cleaner way (rather than depending on Marshall to do it).

Do we have some support for the case where a published calendar can be
edited through iCal
by multiple persons?

At the same time, no. iCalendar can't really do that. You could
possibly set up a synchronization layer that makes diffs on what
changed and only updates that, but it's going to be error prone...
