Hi guys,
I am thinking about organizing something like Community Management
Masterclass led by very famous community managers from around the
World for the next semester. I am trying to form a crew here:
http://talkweb.eu/openweb/453 about writing a real manual/e-book of
community management and I will be happy to get some feedback on my
idea.

This will be unique experience for everyone to get knowledge and
inspiration from people that currently leads the most successful open
source (open knowledge) communities.

I think this would be a wonderful course, and I think it has value in both Webcraft and general P2PU.

Yes - I am not sure it really fits into Webcraft, but it's an awesome
course. There are actually three or four courses related to governance
/ community organization that are emerging.

* Open Governance which I ran last time and Heather (Crisis Commons)
and I are thinking about revising
* Joe is planning a governance for open education projects course
* This community management course

We can review the draft outlines in early Jan and discuss how we could
make them fit together.

Hi from France :-)

Why not? I agree but what did you mean when you talk about CM? The
vision and the knowledge of what is a CM is not something written in
the steal: Some in France talk "moderator" or someone with both
marketing and web (user) skills...

For you, is it more slose to social media manager?

Open & ready to hear and anderstand :-)
Michel.

Hi Rubens!

let's start posting material on a shared environment.

There is people with different levels which want to participate.

If we hang some "basic" tutorials or at least the contents, people will be able to prepare.

That way we can get a base line.
