Maybe you could try to speak with Dennis Riedel that organized a html5
course last semester[1], I imagine he is still subscribed to this
list.

> Dennis - can you help Manolo with an HTML5 course for the January round?
Tell me if I can help somehow ;)
Regards,
| Interest in HTML5/CSS3 is going to continue to increase in 2011 as we inch towards greater browser compliance with these standards. However, support for a particular feature is hit or miss. This makes learning these technologies a challenge because a great amount of your time will be spent hunting down which browser supports a particular feature. If you hold such a course I would encourage you to carefully define which browser and version you will be using and which HTML5/CSS3 features you will be discussing and just stick with that subset for now. Given the current state of browser support for HTML5/CSS3 features courses concepts such as these makes more sense to me: "HTML5/CSS with FireFox 4" "Exploring HTML5/CSS3 with modernizer emulation library" "Using Canvas" The HTML5 course that ran last session was a great introduction to HTML5 but I myself wasted a lot of time trying to figure out which browser supported any particular feature and this effort subtracted from learning the new features themselves. Luckily the feature space of HTML5/CSS3 is so large that you can easily break it down to specific features that will be covered in a six week course and evolve the content over time as browser support increases. |

k into using only one browser that offers the HTML5 feature set that is most essential to learning HTML5/CSS3 (for generality). I assume thats what you mean by "HTML5/CSS with FireFox 4", which is a great idea.I guess what I'm trying to point out is, perhaps the course may be too ambit
