A successful OGN15 and beyond

Hi all,

Thanks so much to everyone who made Oxford Geek Night 15 such a great
night. If you weren't there - why weren't you? - then the videos are

Thanks to Neal for getting them up so quickly. And thanks again to our
sponsors - Guardian Open Platform, Torchbox, Apress and Moo - who made
the evening happen.


On a slightly different note, some of you - well, quite a few -
noticed that the Jericho Tavern were having serious problems with
drink *and* food on the night. They've apologized for this: the gas
supply to the drinks pumps developed a leak and had to be shut down,
and a chef went home early and unscheduled. We've had assurances that
support for the next OGN in February will be much better.

They've asked us to fill out as many of the feedback cards as we can,
because customer feedback is the best way in which the JT can pass on
any problems they have to the area managerial staff, get more
resources etc. Even if you're complaining about things like food
availability then it's good for the pub and the staff as it means
things will get done.


Finally, next OGN. We hope to have this in late February, and we'll be
confirming a date soon. Pencil the last couple of Wednesdays in your
diary and we'll firm things up when we can.
