Hi all,
== OGN11 ==
Mike and Natalie, our keynoters, have both confirmed their talk titles
for OGN11 on Wednesday 25 March:
http://oxford.geeknights.net/2009/mar-25th/
We've also got six microslotters, with a great mix of talks as usual.
Stick it in your diary, and let us know on the Upcoming event if
you're coming along:

== The Pitch ==
At OGN11 we hope to debut a new feature: The Pitch. Anyone in the
audience has the microphone for maximum a minute, and in that time
they can say whatever they want.
You can pitch a new idea, announce an event, offer a service,
advertise a vacancy, advertise *anything*, tell a joke, say hello if
you're new, ask for work, sing a song or just stare menacingly at the
audience for a full sixty seconds.
Let us know if you want to take part in The Pitch. We'll also be
taking volunteers on the night.
== BarCamp Oxford ==
As previously announced, BarCamp Oxford is HAPPENING on the weekend of
April 4-5, at the University Club, Mansfield Road.
http://barcamp.org/BarCampApacheOxford
Sign up if you want to come along. Everyone at a BarCamp has to take
part, but you don't all have to do a presentation or a big speech: you
can help out at a workshop, or share your talk with someone else. As
the BarCamp site itself says:
"Be ready to participate - come with an idea for a session
you can lead. You don't have to be an expert at your topic;
as long as it's not too specific, there'll probably be
someone else present who can help you out. You can also
contribute to the conversation during a session."
We're almost at 50% capacity after less than a week - we've got a
provisional limit of 50 people - so sign up now if you're interested!
All the best,
J-P
