Hi all,

Thanks so much to those of you who came to Oxford Geek Night 27 yesterday

http://oxford.geeknights.net/2012/may-17th/

It was an amazing night and

As always, Torchbox's gratitude is also much appreciated, for their regular sponsorship of venue, tech, logistics, organizing etc. etc. - and they're hiring PHP developers if you're interested.

Slides are ALREADY available on the site, and we hope to send round a Pitch roundup next Monday, to give the Pitchers time to send some details through.

= OGN28 speakers already announced: Wed 19 September =

We've already got a date and a keynote for OGN28!

http://oxford.geeknights.net/2012/sep-19th/

Paul Askew, Sarah Plant and James Weiner will be talking about the trials and tribulations of putting together Ferment, their cult 'zine. Fans of previous keynotes such as Russell Davies' Physiviz and Leila Johnston's Making things fast should be in for a treat.

Actually, you should all be in for a treat, so put Wednesday 19 September in your diary now.

= Audio coming soon =

Once again, thanks to Matt from Sonnox for recording the audio for OGN27. This should be online in a week or so: we'll post here when it is. Thanks to Sonnox for handling this!

= Let's stay in touch! =

You should follow @oxfordgeeks on Twitter if you're not doing so
already. If Twitter's not your kettle of fish then make sure you're
subscribed to the oxford-geek-nights Google group.

  http://twitter.com/oxfordgeeks
  http://groups.google.com/group/oxford-geek-nights

Posts to the group are infrequent - on average, one per week, although
there'll be a few more in the next couple of days to round up OGN27.

There's also a higher-traffic group that anyone can post to, for local
discussion. It's called oxfordgeeks:

= We want your photos! =

Got any good photos of OGN27? Upload them to Flickr and tag them with
"oxfordgeeknight27" and they should come through to the OGN website.

That's it for now: see you in two months' time!

All the best,

J-P
