Owensboro Writers Group is a small bunch of writers that meet in real life once a month. Currently, our meetings are held at Books-A-Million on Frederica Street in Owensboro, KY. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month. If you can't come to our public meeting, you may chat with me on AIM Messenger, Google Chat or Yahoo! Messenger. Please tell me what YOU want to see and/or do. Here are some ideas I've thought of: - monthly newsletter with meeting notes and other writing-related items
- weekly or daily writing prompts
- monthly assignments -- number of words and/or certain subject(s)
- weekly or bi-weekly chats instead of just monthly
