overtone midi clock / MMC / MTC

I would love to use Overtone in conjunction with other programs, but need them to be tightly synced.

Do libraries implementing any of these midi syncing protocols exist for Overtone? Are there any in the works, or is there even any interest?

If none of the above, I may be interested in writing one myself (probably for midi clock) and am open to suggestions / pointers.

Would it be a better idea to make Overtone backwards compatible with that implementation, or to start fresh?
