Duck....and Cover

Remember that old cartoon during the cold war days . The turtle mascot
from the US defense department telling kids that if you see a nuke
flash to ...well you know.- stick head between legs - kiss your a$$
goodbye....
.
Which brings me to the question on that golden "duck" command . Other
than dodging a bullet does that squat command lessen the damage
received when the oke receives a hit ? - like blocking a punch as
apposed
to taking a hit while firing or jumping. Just wondering if someone
observed any difference when testing.

Good question... I never even thought of that, as far as I know there is no damage reduction, but I will test the theory.

Ducking is just as useless in CH as ducking in an A-bomb. , That and
the vertical jump... mostly useless. Unless jumping vertically puts
the oke in grapple range of a flyer. yea right...

I absolutely agree about the vert jump, it just takes too long to recover. But the duck has saved my okes on several occassions, the trick is not getting stuck under a hail of fire with your head at your knees.
