Subject: Camp Little Notch is Seeking Camp Staff!
Seeking Camp Staff for Overnight Girl Scout Camp in Lake George, NY!

We are currently interviewing for the positions of:
Unit Leaders/Counselors
Adventure (ropes course, rock climbing) Specialist
Archery Specialist (compensation for certification)
Ecology/Nature Specialist
Nurse
Head Chef
Kitchen Staff

Camp Little Notch is located east of Lake George in the southern
portion of the Adirondack Park. It is situated on 2,300 scenic acres
of land that includes a ½ mile lake, low mountains, pristine woodlands
and a historic iron furnace.

Facilities at Camp Little Notch include platform tents and lean-to
units, a dining hall, health lodge, shower house (new in 2008),
program building, swimming and boating areas, a playfield, hiking
trails, a low and high ropes course and an archery range.

While at camp, girls live in platforms tents or in lean-tos units and
sleep on cots with mattresses. Each child has room for personal
belongings. Counselors sleep in nearby tents or lean-to. Tents and
lean-tos hold between 4-6 girls. All units include a shelter for
activities and inclement weather, an outhouse, wash stations, water
spigots and a campfire circle. Girls are assigned to units according
to programs and age.

Activities at Camp Little Notch include: swimming, canoeing, kayaking,
sailing, hiking, nature activities, sports, archery, rock climbing,
high and low ropes course, horseback riding (off site), arts & crafts
and outdoor living skills.
Camp Little Notch is accredited by the American Camping Association,
