What's the Our Stories story?

Our Stories is a project that encourages people of all ages to record interviews with friends and loved ones, and to share these oral histories with others online. Our three founding partners, One Laptop per Child (OLPC), UNICEF, and Google have come together to help create and share a growing global audio collection of personal stories. What's the Our Stories Discussion Group?

The Our Stories Discussion Group is a community for sharing thoughts, ideas, questions and comments about the Our Stories project. We encourage you to use this group to talk about the Our Stories project, trade interviewing tips, tell people about your favorite oral history collections, and connect with others who are collecting, preserving and sharing personal narratives.   

What are the posting guidelines for the Our Stories Discussion Group? 

We encourage free and open discussion about the Our Stories project. We don't welcome posts that don’t pertain to the Our Stories project or related topics (such as oral history), and we reserve the right to delete posts that we consider inappropriate. We also encourage you to read the Google Groups Terms of Service before posting on this group. .
