That brand was also my favourite – it got me off dairy! They used to sell refrigerated ones at Macs, but then they were replaced with Silk and I had to switch to tetrapak =0( Hopefully this is only the USA and not Canada? To make up for the fact that \they\ stopped selling Boca vegan chicken nuggets up here though they are sold through the USA. Stupid.

This is the same company that discontinued TofuMate Breakfast Scramble and Eggless Salad seasonings probably about the same time I discovered-tried them….. that were SO GOOOOOOD!!!!!!!

What is going on????? Grr…

Ha! Easier said than done, and I have lots of other ideas…. ;0)

The big thing is their recipes and\or how they manufacture.

Here are the ingredients from their breakfast scramble… Im looking for a similar recipe so I can make it at home.

Onions, rice flour, salt, maltodextrin, garlic powder, red peppers, autolyzed yeast extract, soybean oil, spices, turmeric, soy sauce, citric acid, tricalcium phosphate, malic acid, cocoa, molasses powder, paprika, tumeric extractives (color), spice extractives

COCOA and MOLASSES!!

I tried some other tofu scramble recipe off the internet and it turned out pretty horrible whereas the Tofumate gave PERFECT seasoning. Mmmmmmmmm…. It really makes me mad!!

I can see how that would be frustrating! Hopefully you enjoy experimenting!  :)

I don't really cook but if you require engineering expertise to make the stuff let me know!

The pepper soy chicken is not as good as the Mushroom chicken, it's just ok.  Let me know when you get the MC in!!!!!

That is my opinion too! I love the mushroom chicken MUCH better, but there are fans of the soy-peppered chicken. What method did you use for reheating? I’m wondering if I should try frying next time. All the Nelakee products can be used\heated in so many ways… BBQ!! Microwave, stir-fry, oven, etc… but I think in some cases one method might be better than another. Anyway, thanks for pre-ordering a bulk bag of mushroom chicken! I’ve been buying one for myself each order, but by the time I’ve polished it off, I’m wishing I had bought two, lol. I suppose I have to pace myself and add some variety. I think I had someone leave a comment that they liked everything but the shrimp and the mushroom chicken because those two were WAY TOO REALISTIC?? Mmmmmmmm

Anyway, I’ve been wanting a good breakfast scramble recipe so I can add Nelakee Ham to the scramble. I’m jealously hoarding (I THINK) one package of Tofumate Scramble, and one eggless salad in my freezer for a special occasion… at least I hope I have one of each! I used to make it with vegan breakfast sausage.
