Ottawa Food Not Bombs is starting up again. and we want
YOU to come eat free food with us!
for those of you who are unfamiliar, Food Not Bombs is now a world wide
leaderless project where folks in hundreds of different cities cook up and
serve FREE FOOD!
That's right, there IS such a thing as free lunch!
The guiding philosophy behind Food Not Bombs is that capitalism is a system
that produces too much waste and leaves too many hungry. we address this
problem by getting food donations from local stores and serving free meals to
anyone interested. the food that is donated is food that is often
cosmetically damaged or too close to the expiry date to sell, yet it is
perfectly good! but watch out! this is no charity, this is an act of protest!
