I believe you buy the tickets on the day that it is showing at the
Bytowne... so good idea to pick up your "Age of Stupid" ticket around
5:30 and then head over to Xpresso (102-179 George Street, behind
metro) for a little bite to eat and conversation before the show.
There are usually vegan treats available such as B.goods cookies, or
Three Cheers Cupcakes... vegan samosas and a really good roasted
veggie and tofu sandwich.
This is really informal so I am not charging the usual $1 meetup fee.

Bowling Fundraiser for Teja's Animal Refuge& Refuge RR

OK folks, warm up those forearms! It's time to raise money for animals
in need at an evening of bowling, music and fun!
We are proud to be hosting a bowling night to raise funds for Teja's
Animal Refuge & Refuge RR. Tejas is an amazing animal refuge located
in Alexandria, Ontario, Refuge RR is also located in Alexandria
Ontario not far From TEJAS and is run by two compassionate and
energetic ladies. They are caregivers to over 700 animals who were
rescued from deplorable situations. They provide permanent homes and
care for horses, pigs, goats, sheep, bulls, dogs, cats, ducks and

It takes a tremendous amount of time and money to care for all these
animals, and that's where you come in! The money raised at this
bowling event will go towards building 4 shelters for the animals as
well as towards their hay bill.
This will be a great night out and a lot of fun!! We are selling
tickets for $25.00 a person which will get you two games of bowling
plus shoe rentals. There will be a slide show and video presentation
showing animals from the farm, as well as a silent auction. Since it's
Halloween we encourage you to dress up as your favorite animal, or
whatever character you feel like. Don't worry, you won't be alone!
