While I'm at it, I should also share that I wrote to Kahlua recently 
b/c I bought a little six-pack with their Regular/French 
Vanilla/Hazelnut-flavoured coffee liquors and they list 'caramel' 
as an ingredient.  The response I got back was that it is 'caramel 
colour', which is derived from corn.
 
I SWEAR I'm not one of those junk-food vegans!  :)  Just like to enjoy 
sweets every now and again, especially when we're surrounded by 
non-vegan options all throughout the holidays!
