David Noble, founder of 2DegreesC (www.2degreesC.com) has embarked on a cross-Canada tour to inspire and democratize climate action.
David is a recent visitor to both the Arctic and Antarctic and a trainee of Al Gore. He co-edited the book Stepping up to the Climate Change Challenge: Perspectives on Local Government Leadership, Policy and Practice, and has contributed to several national and international publications in the areas of climate change, health and security.
This tour comes on the heels of a major international agreement to limit global warming to a maximum of 2 degrees C and leads up to the Copenhagen climate negotiations, at which 192 countries will hopefully agree on how to avoid catastrophic climate change.
