Pedal for the Planet riders will be arriving in Ottawa soon. People have been cycling across Canada to deliver a message to Members of Parliament - we want urgent action on climate change! Hope you can join us tomorrow, to welcome the riders as they arrive on Parliament Hill.

PEDAL FOR THE PLANET IN OTTAWA!
 
Tuesday, September 15
 
- 12:15 - 1 pm: Pedal for the Planet Rally on Parliament Hill
 
Welcome Pedal for the Planet riders as they converge on Parliament Hill. Cyclists are riding all the way from Victoria, Whitehorse, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec and other cities.
 
- 1 - 2 pm: Pedal for the Planet Ride: From Canada to Copenhagen
 
Join the search for Canada's missing climate action plan. The ride is a virtual world tour from embassy to embassy, searching for clues for Canada's missing climate plan. We will relay our findings to members of the Environment Committee who are debating Bill C-311, the Copenhagen climate bill. Let's help Members of Parliament design a climate action plan for Canada.
 
- 7 pm: Pedal for the Planet celebration with Marabou at the Rainbow Bistro, 76 Murray Street, Ottawa (doors open at 6:30 pm).
