Hi everyone.
The Ottawa Animal Defense League is happy to announce that the Empire Grill has contacted us to advise that foie gras is permanently off their menu. This is of course excellent news for the animals and over time will spare thousands of ducks from the torture inside Quebec foie gras farms.
Let's keep the pressure on Canvas! Keep calling and sending emails.

And tell your friends to boycott Canvas until they take foie gras off the menu. Together we can make Ottawa foie gras free!!
An updated list of restaurants that serve foie gras will be posted soon. We will be keeping a close eye on all restaurants that have told us they are removing foie gras. If you dine at any of those restaurants and see foie gras offered as a daily special or on the menu let us know.
Until all the cages are empty!
