Role and Responsibilities
* Minimum of 6 years experience in SAS development
*
Involved in the design and development of the SAS stored processes and
advanced queries
*
Experience as a team player developing business rules and application
requirements
*
Experience in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of
web-based applications
*
Develop prototypes and Graphical User Interface
*
Experience in testing and applying Accessibility and the Common Look and
Feel (CLF & CLF2) guidelines and Duty to Accommodate Policy to Government
of Canada Web sites
*
Experience working in collaboration with a TAC (accessibility lab for Web
sites) to validate work done on projects
*
Experience providing status report of the work achieved
*
Demonstrated experience in reviewing and trouble-shooting complex code
designs written by multiple developers, reverse engineering, identifying
incompatibilities and providing alternatives for improved design and
performance.
*
Design and develop prototypes in Visio or Dezign
Qualifications and Experience
Must Have:
* Must be proficient in the following technologies: XML, SQL, Oracle, SAS
Query Builder, SAS Report Generator, SAS Data Integration Studio, SAS
Information Maps, and SAS Business Intelligence Server
*
Solid understanding of SDLC and development methodologies
*
Knowledge of system analysis and design principles, database design
concepts, programming and testing techniques
