This is a challenging and rewarding position in the area of software
solution engineering with a large corporation. You will be part of
the account team and have these responsibilities:
-lead the ongoing development and execution of client's software
deployment planning strategies, customer -application and software
technology deployment plans
-act as a technical solution architect of the account team and engaging
in consultative service and support -activities, as well as to maintain
knowledge of all software components
-design and plan integrated or stand alone software solutions to solve
customers' business issues
-prepare and present technical aspects of proposed solutions to
client and acts as their technical consultant
-respond to software solutions RFP, RFI and RFQs
The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience as a
technical sales engineer in the software industry. Hands-on
implementation experience with Unix, MS/Windows, Oracle,
MS-SQL server, document/content management systems, IIS, Lotus
Notes, JAVA, record management systems, Open Text, workflow,
collaborative technologies would definitely be an asset.
Special Qualifications:
- previous client interface experience as a sales engineer
- strong interpersonal/client focus skills
- self motivated work ethic in a team environment
- excellent communications skills (oral & written)
- ability to communicate in French would be considered definite asset
