Our national client is looking for a candidate to take on the primary
responsibility of supporting the Regional Leader by focusing on equipment
safety and maintenance issues within multiple airports in support of the
clients technical programs such as pre-board screening and hold baggage
screening. <br>

Reporting to the Regional Leader, the Regional Maintenance Coordinator
responsibilities include overseeing maintenance and safety activities, as
they relate to the clients screening equipment.<br>
<br>

Role and Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
* Oversee maintenance activities for screening equipment at airports;
* Monitor third party maintenance contract requirements;
* Assist in new equipment site delivery and installation;
* Review and recommend equipment preventative maintenance changes;
* Monitor radiation safety of equipment;
* Perform Site Acceptance Tests as required;
* The clients lead for working with maintenance provider and manufacturer
to reduce equipment outages and reduce mean time between failures;
* Perform root cause failure analysis for equipment.

Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 5 years progressive work experience.
* Previous maintenance experience involving aviation security screening
equipment or similar complex electrical /mechanical equipment.
* Collaborating with stakeholders, including equipment
manufacturers/suppliers, and facility owners.
* Graduation from a recognized university or college in technology or
skilled trades field is preferred, or, an acceptable combination of
education, related experience and training. Formal training in maintenance
activities or, an acceptable combination of education, related experience
and training is required.
* Knowledge of:
� Root cause failure analysis of equipment.
� Inventory management.
Abilities and Skills:
* Ability to co-ordinate, schedule and monitor the receipt, shipping,
delivery and installation of all screening equipment requirements for
Canadian airports
* Ability to determine root cause failures of equipment
* Ability to assess the viability of and modify/recommend improvements to
criteria applied to evaluate the technical and logistical readiness of
airport sites prior to receiving screening equipment
* Ability to work well under pressure and strict deadlines;
* Ability to work well in a team environment;
* Ability to work overtime as required;
* Ability to travel, often on short notice.

All travel and relocation expenses will be the responsibility of the
