Brainhunter Ottawa is currently has five (5) immediate openings for Senior SMS Packager Specialists.

 

You work as subject matter experts, within the SMS2003 implementation team, in order to ensure desktop software products are properly packaged to comply with the new SMS2003 environment and deployment methodology.

 

Required skills-sets are as follows:

 

10+ years IT experience with 2 to 4 years recent packaging expertise with all of the following:

·         SMS Installer

·         MSI&MST technology

·         WISE Windows Installer Enterprise Edition

·         WISE Installation System Professional Edition

·         Install Shield

·         WinBatch and WinInstall

·         SMS 2.0

·         Virus Scanning software

·         Visual Basic

·         Experience with Ghost 8

 

Involved in standardizing configuration for large desktop deployment in the last 2 years

Windows NT4 Workstation

Windows XP Professional

Windows NT4, 2000, 2003 Server

Office 2003 SP1

Hi,

My relevant experience includes 6.5 years in software development and
testing, 4 last years are in the software packaging. Worked with
different installation technologies. Among them SMS Installer and
InstallShield (MSI and Script versions). Good scripting, debugging,
trouble-shooting skills. Created installations for enterprise editions
of software from scratch for the following platforms: Windows 2000, XP,
and 2003 Server.
